Petpooja's integration with Zomato, Swiggy, and other delivery platforms is mature and reliable. Orders flow directly into the POS without manual entry. For restaurants that do heavy delivery business, this is a genuine strength.
Widespread Market Presence
Being in the market since 2011 means Petpooja is a large company with a wide partner network for setup and support.
Menu Management
Creating and managing menus with categories, variations, and add-ons works well. The system handles complex menu structures for multi-cuisine restaurants.
What to Check Before You Sign
No POS suits every restaurant. These are the questions worth asking Petpooja, or any vendor, before you commit:
1. What period does the price cover?
Petpooja's pricing page lists the Base plan at ₹12,000 + taxes but does not say whether that is per year or another period. Ask, and get it in writing.
2. Which plan will you actually need?
The Base plan covers billing, inventory, reports, food aggregator integrations, unlimited users and terminals, and online installation and training. Captain app, KDS and similar tools come in the Operations Manager plan (Growth ₹20,000 / Scale ₹30,000 + taxes), and CRM and marketing tools in the Marketing Manager plan (₹20,000 to ₹40,000 + taxes). Both include Base. Pick the plan that covers what you need.
3. How much of your business comes through Swiggy and Zomato?
This is where Petpooja is strongest. If delivery apps bring in a large share of your orders, its direct integration saves real time at the counter.
4. Do you want AI tools?
Petpooja's Base plan lists an AI agent. The page does not say whether that covers voice ordering or photo-to-menu extraction, so ask Petpooja directly if those matter to you.

Our Honest Verdict
Petpooja is a solid, established POS that works well for medium-to-large Indian restaurants, especially those with heavy delivery operations. Its delivery aggregator integration is among the best in India.
It is not the best fit for everyone. If you need captain app, KDS or marketing tools, you will need one of the higher plans, so ask what period the listed price covers. If you want AI tools or everything in one monthly plan, compare alternatives.
